It’s very clearly impossible to get otherwise, as even with infinite time, you would still never reach it due to limited precision of floating point arithmetic. (Assuming no updates come) For anyone wondering what I mean by reaching it is that any number greater than or equal to 2^1024 or 1.7977e+308 will be converted to Infinity.

And in case you are wondering, the last 3 digits are 0’s because floating point precision is no longer precise enough to increase a number by 1 at a time. At that point, the numbers are in multiples of 64. That is also why the “to next metabit” amount is a negative number. It’s trying to calculate for 1 more merabit, which it can’t do.

The reason for the negative metabits is because at numbers that large, the representable numbers are the multiplies of 4,096, and when claiming them, floating point precision rounded it incorrectly. I play lots of idle games and I have had it round in both the positive and negative direction many times when I prestige. It’s quite rare though and it only occurs in games that calculate prestige currency with a certain algorithm. (Total normal currency gained and total prestige currency claimed.)

I still don’t know how getting that many is even possible.

Yeah, they give you a geode and call it a "loot box" 😑 And from Prestige level 3 onward, they will tell you that you reached the max level... but it keeps going. I hope they correct those two messages next update.
I also need to check those sharks, I forgot.

Thanks. Coincidentally I got my second shark today as a daily reward. Does completing the dino simulation have any effect on the main sim or does the main sim speed increase each time I reboot even after I've collected all the reality engine upgrades? I have rebooted main sim 13 times and about to reboot Dino's for 3rd time soon. At this rate we will have colonised Mars in reality before I complete the rewards for Martian cities and factories in the game.

@atomic granite Rebooting main sim increases speed depending on your reality engine upgrades AND the amount of total Metabits you have collected. Those also increase speed.
For dino sim to increase the speed of the main sim, you need to PRESTIGE, which you obtain after dino level 43. You can prestige between level 43 and 50 (if you want to earn more rare cards). After prestige, you can see what percentage speed is your main sim (click on the level shield 🛡 in dino sim).
Note that you may need to reboot the main sim to have that speed upgrade applied (I'm at 500% speed upgrade in dino, with prestige x5, but the speed didn't change yet in the main sim... so I expect a huge difference when I reboot main sim).
