Its not really a cheat until the devs fix the problem. Its a bug that's being exploited by a lot of people to have all the metabits ready for when they drop dinos and the beyond update. Once its fixed and if people are going above and beyond to get around those wait times that's when it becomes a cheat.

Once you get past that first set of 'goals,' you'll get a 'destroy the world' Asteroid button at the top.
Then you'll start getting traits, the first of which is to automate one of the dinos.

The more times you reboot your simulation (upon reaching the Singularity) the more your multipliers go up.
Plus you can also buy upgrades for multipliers via the Reality Engine.

no problem, also, the answer to your previous question, the fastest way you can gain metabits is mainly just rebooting whenever you have gained a lot of metabits compared to your current amount of metabits. And darwinium you can gain from daily rewards and the little tasks that are on the side, you should see them if you swipe left from the right side on your screen or click the thing at the top right (I think that's where the menu button is)
