At the beginning it's a good idea to reset when you can afford a new reality engine upgrade on the lower left of the tree.

But each one of your snakes is doing the work of over 4 chickens

Once you reach level 38 in the dinosaur area you will unlock neoaves which is a 6-magnitude increase in production
