How much it increases depends of course on the number of metabits you earned and if you got new upgrades in the reality engine. But the exact formula is only know to the devs,

No, it's not 1 to 1. You can see that in the statistics. And as said before, the formula is only known to the devs.
But after the reality engine is finished, an increase in simulation level should lead to a similar (but probably slightly lower) increase in multiplier.
E.g. if your simulation level rises by 25% due to a reset (and you buy no upgrades), the multiplier might rise by 23%. (Just a guess, no idea if that ratio is right)

Every reset you get metabits based on how much ideas and entropy you earned. You can spend them on reality engine upgrades. And the simulation level (total number of metabits over all simulations) give a speed boost by itself.

yeah so whenever you buy/bought the singularity for the first time it will force you to reset and you will get the opportunity to spend your metabits.

As said before, after the first reset, just earn ideas and entropy. You will see a bar at the top filling up.
But you can only spend them and receive the production bonus after the next reset.
