Based on what I saw on the wiki the whole reality engine upgrade tree is pretty simple and not that expansive.

And with each upgrade there's a massive difference in cost, which makes sense based on how the game is balanced, but you do end up with thousands of unspent metabits this way

Would be nice if there was more stuff inbetween like how you suggested there was one you could buy infinitely. So you feel like you're maximizing every reset

The idle upgrades (the +100% simulation speed ones) scale high with not a bunch of reward.

Maybe if the 400 metabit upgrade was +200% instead of 100?

Sure 100% is a lot but early game. 40 metabits for 2x seems kinda ehh?
