I just found out you can show the module tooltip during the tower testing and instantly stumpled over this tooltip mistake. The Fire Attack Tooltip says it deals Earth damage on every attack instead of Fire damage. It is the same in the Workshop as well. Every other X Attack module provides X damage on every attack.

Are you playing on the latest build?
what about the other half of it where the module tries to get that key
Thats unified for every localized text in the game. I'll check if (for some reason) there is an exception to this module but it would be weird since its not a special module which requires a special way of formatting the text ...
(also I am in the middle of building so I hope its not an issue in the current build because I don't want to wait another 30 min. xD)
Hm ... looks right inside the code. So the only thing I need to know now is the build version where the screenshot is from because I remember this typo was in the game at some point in the past.

I don't have time to check right now. But I launched the game about 24h ago on steam. So I believe the version that was on steam at that point. I can check if the problem reoccurres in about 3hours with the exact version number.
just started the game. It's still an issue for me. The version shown in game is Early Access 0.39.0. I wanted to change to German to check if the issue remains. Indicating the module would call for the wrong description. But the language setting didn't seem to do anything for me.
I will now verify the installation using steam and come back if something changes.

it changes language and Arcade, and revertsa few descriptions

the only other localization currently in the game is outdated (I think it was last updated 3-4 years ago)
if the game cannot find a translation for a key it uses the fallback language (which is english).
if the key is not even there it will simply print the key.
The old german localization file still has the typo (I just checked)
It was a copy of the english localization file back then with a few values changed for testing
ok I think I found it. I found this file at Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Perfect Tower II\The Perfect Tower II_Data\StreamingAssets\Localization\de.json in it it has the wrong description. Fixing it in there solves it :D

It might have been a refresh issue. At which point during your playthrough did you switch to german?
I can't tell anymore. somewhere at the beginning. It has to be like 2-3 months ago. I must have closed and opened the game plenty of times in between. With some breaks lasting over a week.
