I use Arch... in the form of Garuda Linux Dragonized... and now SteamOS 3, been using Garuda a Year now and loving it, and SteamOS has been good fun for the week I've had it so far, having both my Desktop and Steamdeck using variations of KDE deffinitly make it easier for me to learn both at once heh

Isn't Wayland the default Window Manager on Ubuntu? I remember it causing some issues for me on a Linux related project years ago at work, and as I see it hasn't improved...

I think they are still on xorg. However fedora does use wayland by default.

Are you using an NVIDIA graphics card? Nvidia is notorious for their terrible support of wayland… I can’t even login to plasma’s wayland mode on my computer and have just stuck with x11 ever since
