I just had this glitch happen. Went into a 3v1 game and then my rank went from Emerald 3 to whatever comes before bronze. I feel bad because now I'm getting buffs every match and I feel very OP.

They meant the party not updating your rank
It doesnt update in the party until you recreate it

Get a alt on steam and buy it the game and do a 3v1 against it maybe you get 4k trophies too idk

Happened to me and others in the past (went gold 3 --> Newcomer 1) and devs eventually restored peoples rank. I was already back at Gold 2 by then heh

I got this bug over a week ago, its not xbox its just bugged. You're not supposed to be able to play 3v1 or anything. You just get a insanely bugged match.
In my case, I queued with 2 of my friends, but somehow it became a 5v1 on one of my friends with 3 other randoms on our team, but tab showed me on the team with 1 of my friends. And the end result didnt even include everyone and also fake prestige 3 xbox "defaultname123" players
