The first thing I made was a crossbow with it I killed several bosses and when I had resources I made a shotgun thinking that I could change the crossbow to it, but no. "ok, I can increase the number of slots at the bag vendor" I buy a weapon bag from him and.....
the third weapon slot is empty, I can't use the shotgun.💀

Did you try changing weapons at the teleport statues? As it is the only place where you can switch weapons.
