As dumb of the title is, the hit detection of the toxic bomb is a hollow sphere, meaning if your hit with a toxic bomb you wont take any damage or at minimum 3 ticks of damage, meaning there is no hit detection in the middle, on the other hand, if you exit and re-enter the sphere, you can have multipule instances of the damage, meaning only the edges of the poison cloud inflicts any damage. Video shows how the damage can effect gameplay. If thrown at your own feet while next to someone, you keep taking damage as normal, but they dont

not sure if this is correctly written, it's a ping thing I'm pretty sure
this is being done on me, whenever I get hit with toxic, or walk into toxic, I take no damage at all because of terrible ping, making it basically a free smoke screen
that damages my enemies and not me
its consistently 15 damage but sometimes I take 0 damage
its also a ping thing but the fact that in direct hit poison bomb doesnt do dmg is function thing
oh does it do extra damage with a direct hit?
is it suppose to do damage I mean
and dont move away
I can move away and still take no damage
of course, you are in a poison smoke
we tested it, I took 15 damage once smoke dissapates, if I walk out I take up to 15 damage
and no more when walking back in
I never took more than 15 damage from toxic smoke
sometimes you get no dmg at all
yup yup
but it doesn't have to do with direct hits and whatever
its just that I take up to 15 damage from it max no matter the circumstances
and take no damage while inside it
but isnt it bullshit that you take 15 only after the smoke dissapears not instantly when you get direct hit with it and are inside it
xd
A better explanation is think of the lingering hitbox is in the shape of a bubble. Touching the sides of the bubble causes you to take damage but if you stay in the center till it goes away you will be poisoned. I demonstrated it by walking in and out of the hit box causing me to take 10 damage per tick a few times
