I don't know how much saying do we the players have a saying in this, nor if Brainwash gang already has a plan behind this but we could all agree that it is essential to keep a game alive for a very long time.
FVF has potential because seemingly it tries to avoid any sort of cheeky tactics other games tried using, (like the pay2win, and such.)
Here's what I have in mind:
Each Seasonal update would come up with a new character, with a new character related card, some new cards to be added to the packs, at least a new map, and a 100% free battle pass that can be quickly completed, and the progression offering you a new type of currency that you can spend on a cosmetic tree to reach the things you're interested in faster.
And to avoid FOMO every cosmetic that the player couldn't reach would be put back into the loot pool, so that people who couldn't receive some of the items could still receive them by opening PalPrizes. Kind of like how Deep Rock Galactic handles seasonal updates.
And The progression of the BP would be identical to how your level progresses throughout the game. Simply by playing. (I don't think it should be tied to quests.)
I had to put this suggestion in there because I had been thinking about how I'd personally like Seasonal updates to be implemented since the game launched, and it is an important factor when it comes to keeping a game going for a long time.
I can also understand if the idea behind a battlepass is cliché, and overused now in the gaming industry, so if anyone has any better ideas then I'd be glad to hear them
