#Adding a timer to the match

I feel like there could be either a timer that count downs after a certain amount of time or a area that you capture after so much time goes on.

the reason I say this is because if you dont kill the other player then it could lead to a long time and waiting for the other person to peek kinda situation. just want it to keep it moving and feel robust.

i've had matches where people will just sit at the back of a map because they were at a disadvantage and not move an inch so you gotta run over there yourself or let the game drag on forever.

honestly yeah possibly, some people start playing really turtly sometimes and that's fine and all but gets sloggy. a timer with higher health winning after a while would be good i think

realistically matches shouldnt last longer than 2 minutes tops.

on smaller maps no more than a minute

it is supposed to be high octane as far as i can tell. we shouldn't be at a standstill for minutes sometimes. i agree on overtime timer for sure

even if it's like, a decent sized time limit like 10 minutes that would be better than nothing

Idk it’s strange because if you add a timer should it end in a draw? I’ve had long matches ofc but I would fear that on some maps like subway or theatre you would chip them once then run around in circles till you win

The no timer does create problems and if they do a ranked mode something does need to change

But I kind of appreciate how it’s just an informal play to have fun and kill the other person style game
