It's been talked about a good amount, the reward that you get from gold packs, and if it's worth it. General opinion, from myself and others, is that gold packs simply aren't worth it. Even with the guaranteed rare card, it's just not worth paying over twice the price of a normal pack for a reward that is only slightly better. Personally, I believe it would be more worthwhile to get one guaranteed rare plus four other cards. It's debatable if it would be worth it even then, but it would definitely help encourage people to buy gold packs over standard.

Just plain having golden packs prioritize/guarantee a card you haven't unlocked would be great for minimizing the amount of out-of-match RNG reliance the game has.

i honestly dont think the game has enough cards in it for this too matter too much rn

i think each pack is useful depending on your current deck and what youre wanting. by the time youre anywhere close to max level id assume youd have all the cards at least unlocked
