I tried to paint my V8 engine block multiple times, and it would tell me you don’t have the required parts when I tried to put it on the engine stand afterwards… I tested another engine block (V8 Hemi) and it worked perfectly… so the issue is with the V8 block specifically

I’ve also tried different paints, both chrome and solid and neither would work after they were painted, it’s like after paint they cease to exist to the engine stand afterwards

You selected the V8 OHV supercharged engine yes. Then you need a V8 OHV Engine Block. What you have there is a V8 Engine block.
