i think the only reason tier skips aren't a thing presently is due to the leader boards being level based

What is the point of getting tier skips?

i mean even if the leader board would't be lvl based

getting cosmetics you want faster, some ppl can't invest time into grinding the game hard enough to finish pass b4 seasons end but still want the cosmetics

therfore having the option is more of a courtesy than anything
