Rank system is pointless

I got matched against noobs, of course we were winning 1-0 and they left, they got platinum guys ( we are golds) and it was 2-2, then it was 2 mins left, and they guy in our team left, and we didnt get the third guy after he left. We lost and got -14 points as if we lost to these noobs. So pointless

Hmm yeah backfill currently matches at the average rating of the team to fill rather than each individual slot according to the rating of the person that left which can create some awkward scenarios. Something I'll need to work on

I understand the frustration though, you're winning a match and then they leave and get replaced by people that turn what should have been an easy win into a loss for you

Probably can't solve every case of that but could definitely be improved

its only once in awhile for me where it maybe swaps out a plat for a legend/diamond and they'll just turn the game around, but honestly im not bothered too much, since it rarely happens for me..

Yeah I think I ran the stats once and scenarios like this don't happen very often, especially when you start climbing higher ranks

that is your opinion, in mine playing 2v3 for 2 minutes against ppl that has higher rank is not a skill issue, it is just unfair. Imagine this in terms of football. We had 66% of our team. Let say there is team like Chelsea playing against team from Championship like idk Ipswich there is a 1-1 draw, and suddenly from the 60th minute ipswich only plays with 8 people for no reason. Would you tell them it is a skill issue?

I feel you bro the matchmaking is the worst oat and i drop from plat 2 to gold 3 only because i gotch matched with golds against full plats. i hope that somebody sees this comment and fix ts i am geting tired of this.
