Honestly I'm just here to vent, it's really frustrating as someone jumping between plat 2 and 3 with my friends and actually just having scheduled losses.
By that I don't mean playing against slightly higher level opponents, I mean we're beating everyone except for the same team of legends that are clearly way better than us. They're out there doing things that I couldn't even fathom to do like dribbling the puck mid air and I can barely hit open nets.
Almost even worse is solo queuing and you're the only plat shitter and everyone else is legend and your teammates are flaming you because you're not doing a flick-the-ball-off-the-wall catch into a bounce-on-the-stick dribble, deek past 3 guys who swing their sticks like me swatting away flies into the top right corner of the net.
I feel like as a plat 3, the difference between a plat 1 and a plat 3 is nowhere near the difference between a plat 3 and a legend. It's like it's forgotten that people in legend have way more experience and time and constantly play against higher level competition so the actual skill difference is higher.
