#Bring Back Reset Wars

The current GW format simply doesn't work. Hold wars are unfun, uncompetitive, and simply remove any form of excitement reset wars had. The decision to remove reset wars due to timezones is a fair one, but one thing is for certain, there were plenty of suggestions that could've been attempted before committing to the worst of them, being hold wars.

The following are, in my opinion, the biggest issues with GW currently:

P2W Model

I cannot understand why there are extra orders locked behind paywalls when this is supposed to be a "competitive" PVEVP mode. With just the GW pass, if all 25 players were to purchase it, that would result in 6x25 = 150 EXTRA ORDERS over the other guilds. This doesn't even include orders from the lumber deal, orders from the order deal that pops up day 1, and orders for gems in the GW shop. Could someone please explain to me, in what world, is allowing players to pay for more attacks, thus giving them a direct unfair advantage, supposed to foster a competitive environment? You could argue that not so many people buy these offers or the GW pass in the first place, so this issue isn't as pronounced as it could be, which might be true, but then we still return to the same question: why does this exist in the first place? PS. I'm aware the lumber deal and orders from GW shop don't cost real world currency, but since gems do, and those cost gems, it's fair to consider those as paywalled.

Alliances

Ever since the into to hold wars and the massive surge of alliances, GW not longer feels like an actual war, where four guilds fight it out, strategize, chaos everywhere, and nobody holding hands or signing peace treaties behind the scenes. Guild leaders and cos are just sitting there politely arranging and negotiating these deals, instead of actually playing the game and strategizing solely with their guild members (as it used to be). Alliances are also a direct result of hold wars, since you are quite literally incentivized to work with other guilds, allowing you to choose who holds what on certain days and even more so, being able to completely corner and outright block the opposing guilds. Whereas, with reset wars, alliances are actively discouraged since you'll be ultimately losing out on rewards you could've had , had your guild used good strategy and coordination. Alliances are only "fun" so long as you are on the winning side, and similar to the paywalled orders, they provide unfair advantages to guilds.

Rewards

Rewards from GWs vary every month, however, the last few have brought absolutely abysmal rewards for the time the game mode requires. 1 Malachite every 16h or 1 deluxe equipment chest every 22h from the highest league? You can literally get more and faster from shrines, so what's even the point of playing if these are going to be the rewards on the map? I do want to stress that in the past GW had a problem with overinflated rewards, so it's important to find a balance and for those to also scale according to knight lvl (a lvl 10 knight should not be getting the same rewards as a lvl70 even if they are both in war masters). Other than just outright diversifying the war "types" (which is a fine solution as is), another idea would be to include more "high value" nodes, which could award 2 different rewards at once, double awards, or something else valuable.
