I suggest that guilds taking down a node full of players should be granted a period of immunity, during which the node cannot be claimed by anyone else. There have been instances in previous war editions where our guild successfully took down a tower of 25 knights, only for another guild to steal the node during the contest due to having a better internet connection. This change could help ensure that the effort put into defeating opponents is more rewarding. 5 minutes of immunity would be enough

I could agree that we could have a little bit of time to at least be able to get an order if needed (in the shop or the tree) but some could say that being opportunist and steal the node is a war move
Absolutely agreed
Stealing nodes is indeed a war move as far as I'm concerned. There are ways to prevent this from happening.
But I agree that it sucks if these things happen because of technical issues.
Last GW i just defeated the last defender, when the animation to go back to the node finished an opponent was already trying to get the node.
I didn't even get the opportunity to click to contest.
Yes, that's why you should have at least one teammate with you. It takes too long for the attacker to get into the fight for the node.
Node raids take planning and coordination.
Grace periods go against the whole idea of a guild working together to achieve victory
Yes, I understand what you’re saying, but this has happened more than once while we were 3 to 4 knights attacking together. I believe that the difference in location really helps in capturing a point before the opponent
I don't know how true that is, I have a pretty solid internet connection and I still struggle beating the snipers.
I can’t say for sure, especially since I don’t know how the game server really works, but in other games, the difference in Ping strongly impacts gameplay
