Would be a great idea to dust off older grey, green and blue tier heroes by giving them a "ascension".
Essentially you do tasks or a challenge to collect tokens that you would use to ascend a hero (higher base stats, additional/new effects on abilities). Other mobile games have something like this as an endgame feature and would be a neat avenue to add to the game to change things up.
Some would say just leveling up the heroes stars is kind of like an ascension system but I don't feel its enough for some heroes.
