Monster Cave is fine, it is the only source for those runes and one of the first sources for chest gambling. The amount of souls gained though leaves something to b e desired but it is what it is.
Idk what OP means by 'failed'
Is it not sufficient as a game feature?
Everything needs renovation after being a daily chore, of course.
Mate I mean it is like “do 1 time” thing and as a “continuous” thing, it is a failed part of the game. No gameplay. Currency is needed but it could be re-worked. Onslaughter type of epic heroes only was an idea to replace. And maybe get rewards of cave shop stuff as floor rewards.

One time content had become “continuous”. That is why failed as continuous content. ^^
There's no point into putting only epic heroes, it wouldn't drive any kind of possible combinations, rather just focus on one hero that's best suited
That definition is very new to me as a gamer.
I meant many floors like dod, that one hero could be used for only one floor. But just a side idea. XD

Each floor can have fehu, laguz, dogaz etc. consisting of items from monster cave shop or volcanite etc. maybe XD just an imagination ^^
Im gonna be honest, monster cave isn’t a one time thing
It’s a mobile phone game, not a PC or console game
The point of “raiding” is too save time for players who can play only 30 mins a day to at least finish daily quests
So no, it’s not a failed feature. It is a very nice feature that’s saves time. The whole reason why bosses are hard there at higher lvl is so that you can get a sense of accomplishment and never do it manually again. And save more time and just raid it. Same thing with hunts. Same thing with rift battles when you have high rp. It reminds you that you are now stronger than those enemies and gives you privilege of skipping battles and saving time
That’s the whole freaking reason this feature is implemented in Hunts, rift, and caves.
Bcz most players are not spending 2-3 hours per day playing it
The monster cave system is meant to be played as the story or hunts. It's like saying the hunts and story mode are a failed part of the game because they aren't fresh and replayable. The monster cave is a challenge that is meant to be beat linearly. After you complete it, it's done, and now you can gain it's spoils. As more story mode is added, more challenging monsters will appear.
Maybe new epic heroes allowed dod style thing can be designed in a way to favor the rogues so balance between the classes can get more even. 🤗
Priotizing a class specific game mode would be cool, but it shouldent be just rogues, that makes them too over powered.
Rogues are weakest it’s been told
