Me and the two other guilds in this war are experiencing an issue where there’s a level 50 in our 20s-30s lobby and it made me (and another user in #guild-wars ) think up of a reasonably good idea/fix for this issue alone.

So to put it briefly - due to the harsh stat differences, this user is unbeatable when defending an objective which is unfair in some eyes (seeing as guild wars was supposed to be equal matchmaking)

He’s in a vital position which makes it near impossible to take over any territory within their guild - essentially an unfair advantage to their guild due to one player being way overlevelled for this lobby.

The fix - would simply be a cool down timer for defence; it would for example allow a user to defend a position for idk a day or two, and then they would be forced to defend a different position once the time is up, leaving a cooldown on their original position for the day.

This simply means that their guild have to alternate between members on who defends what objective - implying strategic thoughts and gameplay, a way to change the tide of any war with unfair advantages and I’m sure other pros and potential cons lie elsewhere.

TL;DR - Add a cool down on defenders in guild wars so they have to switch and alternate which members defend what positions!

Or some sort of system that give a debuff overtime when defending for too long on the same flag.
