Ive been thinkin this carefully, and i think it can solve lots of problems for the players.
The idea is simple and also its mechanics:
Implementing an alchemist npc in Karnheim, that can transmute materials and potions.
The transmutation recipes can be the following:
-2 malachite and 100 G= 1 cobalt
-3 cobalt and 1000 G = 1 manganese
-4 manganese and 10000 G = 1 orpiment
And the potion mixes recipes can be the following:
Potions and elixirs, only of the same type/name
2 lesser+ 100 G = 1 improved
2 improved + 500 G = 1 greater
Potions of stat dispell:
2 clarity + 100 G = 1 curing
2 curing + 500 G = 1 vigor
Elixirs for heroes and fury:
2 lesser exilir of rage + 100 G = greater
1 greater + 1 lesser exixir of heroism +500 G = 1 greater elixir of power.
¿Why in Karnheim?
Because it makes sense, in that land of crazy scientist cultist, golems and aberrations.
¿What does it solves?
Material shortage and potion overstock.
