#Unique Capes deserve a small passive bonus

Nothing game-changing, just something small to add some build diversity. Let the Adventurer Backpack provide +10% Exp Gain, etc, give people a reason to want these items other than cosmetic or dismantle fodder. This is an opportunity to add some balanced variety to the builds.

We’d get an opportunity to play with some interesting new mechanics that wouldn’t be game-breaking, just little passive RNG bonuses that help take the edge off a battle. MDK would get more things to encourage engagement and Event Pass completion. I see this as a win/win.

Feels like this is more P2W then you think, all of the event capes (i think anyways) are in the Redux style chest which directly cost money (GW Pass and that deals thing). As for the regular unique capes, that is all Customization chest which can be farmed but like all chests and rift capes it is all RNG.

To keep it F2P-friendly, it could just be stuff in the future, nothing redux

Also, even if somebody p2w’d $600 at redux chests just for a chance to get a cape that give “+10% experience gained from Golem Enemies” that wouldn’t seem like much of an incentive. My intention would be to keep the passive bonuses small enough that it’s not a huge game impact

Maybe a Hunt Track reward cape that gives “+X% experience in Realm of Fire” or something so leveling players can have a mid-point objective

Arena Cape for “+3 Arena Token Rewards per Victory”

I feel like this would only be viable if the passive bonuses didn’t effect PVP and GW, or the P2W aspect would be even worse than it already is.
