And that comes into play... how? And if people get too butthurt about it they could just as easily include a setting to hide cosmetic weapons.

What "weapon exclusivity"? All weapons are fundimentally the same aside from the VS damage bonus. There is no weapon speed in play since we have 4 attacks. Weapon damage is the same at equal levels across all types. The only thing that's "different" between weapons is Enemy Type and any "differentiating" has already been thrown out the window with the way Morphs already work.
Devs have spoken on this previously and said it is not happening, iirc
