Yeah I’ve also struggled with this. Made friends through school and work, none long-lasting, but it was definitely worthwhile for getting into social activities. If you can ever make anything happen in person with internet friends I’d say that’s a success, don’t know how possible that would be for you or if that’s something you’d even be interested in. I met some cool people at concerts and exchanged information, that’s another “success.” I wish you luck with connecting with people and it’s something I’ll be working on too :)

Hey Ivy,
i can totally understand what you mean.
Im only 20 but ive been out of school since 2018 and basically lost all my "friends" cause we were basically just classmates i got along with but not like real real friends. Since then ive been not very outgoing, meeting new people and stuff. But i managed to meet a lot of cool and good friends through the internet. Ive been in a friends group since early 2018 now and i feel like even tho they live across the country they are my real friends. Ive met up with some of them at the Loona Concert, and i really enjoyed it. I think itself something like a discord server can be a place where you can find friends and maybe they live in the same country and you can meet up with them, or meet new people through events that are related to your interests. Maybe if you scout through the internet you might find something you are interested in and connect through that with new people, as an example a sport or something. I wish you all the best and hope that you can connect quickly with new people and make friends with them.
Hey hey,
I personally also struggle with making irl friends, as an example i legit have no irl friends haha not that i do mind it that much tbh. But it's indeed hard to make new friends since where should you meet them? Most meet their long lost friends in high school or such.
I have met a person from Everglow cord that is also from Belgium and we sort of are friends, we talk here and there on discord but haven't met irl yet. Think from my experience, it's easier to try and meet people on here then irl, if there is one or more that are close in your area it's easier to say like "hey let's meet up irl".
Thank you guys for your advice and kind words <3
