Does it require selecting by color and editing both separately or not

i'd turn down the temperature, in raw or use curves red/blue to cool the whole image down then ..

use saturation tool, hand picked over skin to select skin colours then add saturation

in a programme called capture one, in the colour wheels section there is a wheel for skin tone which is quite cool

There’s a colour picker in the saturation layer if you select the red you can change the hue , saturation & lightness

I would try that to start with

Can also play with the selective colour layer

You could also use the curves tool as well - play with the rgb curves

This camera has 12bit colour. It arguably creates so much more depth than the standard 10bit . Probably going to be my video camera of choice the sigma fp.

Oh the thing in the picture is a lens not an adapter

It’s a carl zeiss 50mm makro planar

there's also those speedboosters or whatever they are called that can allow it to operate closer to the original full frame focal length, I used one on my sony e-mounts back before Sony had full frames

Man I honestly kind of hate sometimes how good macbooks are for photo/video editing 🗿

I recently wanted to get more into gaming, but I'm still doing "fansite" stuff so I absolutely need lightroom to.. you know.. work

Been eyeing this gaming laptop for a few weeks and went to Microcenter to buy it and just be like "fuck it 2 week return window i'll try it out worst case scenario just return it"

it's so much fun and a monster to use... but even the highest end laptops like this available still cannot reliably run lightroom. Idk what it is

the macbook doesn't even hiccup in lightroom

lightroom is bordering unusable on PC for what I'm doing like I have to cull images in lightroom and it takes so long to scroll through photos. I don't even build smart previews on my macbook and it doesn't lag at all but I do the exact same action on this PC and if I hold down the arrow key and let off of it it'll just keep going for another like 3-5 seconds where as the macbook stops instantly

i'm doing an import of 45mp raw files right now with previews and the computer sounds like a jet plane lol

which to be fair my macbook it's the only thing that gets the fans to turn on

I wish macbooks were usable for gaming. Trying to just have one computer for home that I can take with me on travel but also get back into gaming a little so I guess it's either get into gaming and deal with lightroom being trash on pc or just continue the no gaming life and have a computer that does content creation well

Fansigns get announced beforehand, like this one for example

How it works is that during that sales period, if you buy one album through that specific store through that event page, you get 1 entry ticket into a lottery system. The more albums you buy the more lottery entries you get

Once the sales period is over, they announce the winners of the fansign on their website (and you probably get an email or something if you win? idk, I've never won)

Each store will have their own fansigns, and the albums you buy through these fansign events come with special exclusive photocards

Often you'll have to buy a lot of albums to even have a chance of getting into a fansign

so here's something that i'm kinda triggered over apple with

so I just got a new windows laptop because fuck apple but

various other reasons well i'm going through photos and I looked at a set of photos I took at music bank and I was like "wow these look a lot different on the macbook compared to this pc"

initially I saw this and was ready to just pack this pc back up and return it... but I was like "even though the macbook photos look different.. riina definitely did not look like that that day"

well turns out macbook finder when you're previewing photos and I knew this was a thing it shows you the raw file, and then it like a second later will show a different edited preview of that file I guess?

well apparently pc does it in reverse it shows the edit then the raw file

this whole experience is now making me think that a lot of fansites are overexposing without actually knowing it lmao because i'm actually kinda annoyed now over this

so this is what riina actually looks like

this was a really overcast day and it was raining

it's not the exact image maybe like 2 frames later, but this is what the macbook edit did

it's funny because i'm looking at these photos right now on my macbook, but then when I go back to the pc to look at the photos I'm finding myself again saying "no... this is what she actually looks like"

messed with the colors on both

about to go load these into lightroom now and look

interestingly importing into lightroom looks better, but she still looks so overexposed in lightroom

yeah so macbook converting images to jpegs through finder it just puts out the jpeg file

so it's actually just a pointless tool

I guess unless you shoot purely raw only and not raw+jpeg

guess this whole experience taught me just to share the jpegs from now on and not trust the raw files what they look like in finder now lmao

I have something similar when I take pictures from my phone to my Windows system. It like doesn't send all of the data with it or something so it looks different

Turns out they were just showing me the raw as a jpeg instead

Idk I guess I understand the logic of it because some photographers do shoot purely raw so I get it

Funnily enough I was saying 4k screens on laptops were stupid

That being said I'll admit to being partially wrong because I was saying they were stupid for gaming and I still stand by that

But that being said my m1 max MacBook had a pretty noticeable sharpness difference on it's screen vs the pc

The MacBook screen is like slightly below 4k where as the pc was 2k so makes sense. Now I kind of want a dual panel laptop instead lmao.

Razer makes them but their laptops are notorious for overheating so

Lightroom is so good on Mac but everything else PC was basically on par or beating it
