well, my honest opinion is that i wouldn't skip it, but also you know yourself better than anyone and i'm unaware of how rigorous your kickboxing training is

it wont be a straight line to your goal, everybody fluctuates whether theyre going up or down in weight, dont worry about it too much and get back to your schedule as soon as you can and youll see the progress return ❤️

Currently trying to find some good soup recipes and I want to ask are calories of between 600-1000 good for someone who can take about 1500 calories a day
1500 sounds quite low for a daily intake

yeah MFP gives you very unsustainable targets
depends on your current intake and your sex/height
also age and activity play a part

It's okay but I am basically eating the same everyday. The last two days I tried to make some healthy tuna wraps but now I wonder if they didn't have a negative impact on me instead 
Much better to do that because while you’re being more active than usual your body is anyway experiencing a shock so it changed with time without needing to reduce your food intake, you need all the foods. Less means less energy which isn’t good in the long run + your metabolism will slow down prematurely and will do more damage than good. Better to just focus on having the right amount of protein, fat and carbs for yourself

I gotta admit that no matter what I do it's hard and I worry about gaining more weight again hence why I try everything to reduce what I eat
But that might be a bit extreme so I try to get a bit easier
the most important thing with diet and exercise, is whatever youre doing has to be sustainable
you have to do it in a way that makes you not hate it
Oh yeah it's not like I necessarily hate my diet I just hate going up and down with my weight
But there isn't much to do except taking better focus on diet and sports had to neglect the gym for a week

eating more increases your body weight so technically yes? generally the heavier you are the more you can lift. but it's not that simple, when it comes to how much you can lift that's mostly training
lifting relies on grip strength mostly right? as well as body strength

Athletes can have even lower resting heart rates than that, it’s a perfectly normal resting heart rate. My resting would drop below 50 sometimes when I was deep in my running regimen, and things like alcohol can increase your resting rate

Good morning my fitness fellas, im about to get into gym-ing so i was wondering how wld yall recommend a newbie to structure their workout? Any videos so i can take a look and learn wld b much appreciated too ❤️
workout 20-60 mins give yourself 1 - 3 days rest. Every 4-6 weeks give yourself a full week off to give your muscles & tendons a break.
Split your workouts into working 2 muscle groups or just 1 if your focussing on developing one area and allowing your recovery time to develop one rather than two muscle groups.
So for example
day 1 - sunday abs & chest
day 2 tuesday legs, back & shoulders
day 3 friday abs & biceps/triceps
Listen to your body some days you just need to train light or not train at all if your not feeling up to it. It's a marathon not a sprint so it's mainly about being as consistent as you can be whilst keeping a mental check on your energy levels.
Starting off start light, don't push yourself too hard or you will end up damaging something. Pump up the music and enjoy your workout . Ease yourself into it, little by little each week. Don't forget to lightly stretch slowly at the end of the workout.
My faveourite youtube fitness people are alex crockford & chloe ting
another little tip , psychologically i always find it more encouraging to count my reps down than counting up .

i have a question for u guys
i'm skinny fat (but i'm in the range of ideal weight for my height), the thing is that i don't know if i need to bulk first or do a calorie deficit, i'm not too skinny but i want to work more in my arms and torso (my lower buddy is trained due to sports).
ik da optimal thing is to cut til ur at 14% or sthg body fat but if u feel like dats not necessary checking urself in da mirror can just start bulking imo

if you want hypertrophy you should optimally work in the range of 10-14 reps

in that sense, my program is actually mostly hypertrophy, but strength for the big 4 lifts

i walked so much on my trip like averaging 15k steps a day then did leg day as soon as i flew back

how much variation is enough?
shocking the muscle is a very important concept in terms of gains, some experts even recommend switching your routine every 4-6 weeks. but i find it fine to just do things in a different order every week, my body can never adapt and i can shock the muscle each week
i also previously did different variations where i'd pyramid with the weight, reverse pyramid, or do a bunch of other wacky stuff
i'm not as hardcore now though, and i see sufficient gains with my current program. it's built to last
I would say whatever makes you feel better bc your long term result would be the same

Still catching up from last years broken elbow - good progress so far.
doing around 6 sets 10 repa flat and incline at around 35 - 40 kg
Bench flys at 12kg (would prefer 16kg but don’t have)
Still another 2-3 months until happy with body shape

been a few years but it works with my routine now and it was effective for me then so hopefully it helps now
