I think at the core there is a root of communist philosophy they still try to follow in terms of investing in infrastructure for the people, reducing poverty, and investing in social services like education and healthcare. Which is all to improve live of average citizens. But at the same time they aren't that different from the US in some ways. They are 2nd in the world in number of billionaires and from what i understand their citizens dont really have any power to influence government or reduce corruption. I guess opinion on China depends if you think exchanging some personal liberties for a better lower to mid middle class is more worth it or not.

Is stranger things new season worth watching? I never finished the last one cause something felt off and a lot of the kids seem like worse actors now tha they are older.
This show is like this generations Harry Potter Series but i dont remember it being as jarring when that cast got older.
Also I think the writing just got worse in terms of depicting their development as teens. Wasnt as interesting as the previous seasons.
