I was more so thinking about the US, not internationally. In the US, there is a rise of white supremacy and anti immigration rhetoric. Even if MAGA say they want someone to come in legally to the US, we kind of know its not true just with the way they look down on any immigrants. It just feels like authoritarianism and extreme nationalism is at an all time high right now, hence why I said fascism is a big factor in the way the US is operating right now.
