and it's highly geographical in nature, like coastal areas have such distinct concentration of newcomers as well as jobseekers in general, but also a lot of gentrification due to high income earners wanting their own exclusive plot of land.
Basically at the presidential administration level, there's very little other than lip service and "here's an executive order inviting you to do more of this" that the president's office can do to increase housing supply directly or even indirectly, other than going full wartime economy on housing.
