Doga Kobo was really the perfect fit for this adaptation, especially since they've already passed the manga and are adapting straight from the LN now
it's a shame that it took oshi no ko for doga kobo to be on people's radar, but they were masters of slice of life anime alongside kyoani long before that
although such a relatively obscure voice actress for Yuki being such a hit with anime fans was also a surprise, she really carried first season lol

it always confuses me how movie compilation take months to get released after the tv airing, like that stuff should've been prepared atleast before the tv airing imo

often the movie compilation isn't planned ahead, they only do it when the anime has received a certain level of acclaim or popularity
and frankly I find most movie compilation to be somewhat silly unless they add at least an episode's worth of content before and/or after the compilation portion ends
like chuunibyou's first season compilation from Rikka's perspective added a good 20-25 minutes of extra content for the movie
and tied first and second season together nicely
