What are your guys thoughts on Manhwa and Manga. I feel like manhwas have become like the fast food of the medium. Its filling, and entertaining, but doesn't have enough character to make as big an impact as the actual good manga series. Like I've read several good manhwas but I genuinely don't remember their plots after a while. The characters are generic but like its also a strength cause it feels familiar. Solo Levelling and Tower of God are probably the biggest successes of the format but every other one feels so derivative (which is still entertaining but not memorable.). ORV is extremely well written but even that lacks some novelty cause of its designs. I guess what I'm saying is Manhwa has a higher floor than Manga but won't ever reach the same heights as it is.
