Okay as a pocket mercy in a role queue do you just focus on the player your pocketing or still try to heal everyone else? I got flamed (ish) by a pharah for not always sticking with them but thats because our rein is always low and not getting enough heal from our bap

I focus most of my healing and damage boost on dps first as Mercy, then support, then tank as long as my other support is healing tank. but if the other support isn’t helping heal tank then I will either ask them to focus tank heals so I can focus dps, and if they’re not willing to cooperate, then no Mercy for u

I try to at least get my tank half healed if I can, then finish healing dps if they’re still taking damage

most of the ow community is salty with mercy players no matter what you do or how you play, they’re never satisfied ~ if you heal then you’re a healbot, if you damage boost they get mad you’re not healing

yells at u if you don’t try to res, then yells at u when you res and get killed

mercy should still be considered off healing, so tank isn’t the main priority if you play as her

i almost never follow pharahs unless i see my team doing fine or pharah actually showing results.
i always split my healing to everyone. if all low i split it in taps getting them out the danger zone, healing tank to atleast a third top off dps and support then fill up tank.
my choices also depend on their position. if someone is save i prioritise them as last after getting them out danger zone

i never trust or rely on the other support. if i see a teammate even slightly away from full hp i fill them up before doing any damage boosting.

@burnt summit for her rockets, they do explode upon collision, so if enemy is moving too much, you can shoot the rockets at their feet for a better chance of damage

also press the same button as her boost to stop boosting if you wanna cut it shorter, it’ll boop the enemy back further and if you boop em then use your rockets as they’re right in front of you, it’s an easy kill!

I want to perfect the Symm portal + Dva ult combo just haven’t had the chance, if anyone wants to try 👀

Devs made it so your rank is now your MMR and not your STD. It is not a Rank Reset like previous seasons. You are being moved to your MMR which means you will either derank, stay the same, or rank up

ranked systems usually have two ranks, your "true" rank thats used to match you (mmr: matchmaking rank) and your public rank (SR and so on)

if you're ranked like gold 3 but you're getting placed into plat 1 games, it means you have high mmr and subsequent wins will get you up to plat 1 faster

which is probably what happened to me, since i ended overwatch 1 at around 3800 sr but the game put me at gold 5 when ow2 started. my rank ups were going up two ranks at once. i ended the season at master 5 but it bumped me up to master 3 since thats apparently where my mmr was

his main problem is how clunky he is but i think theyre fixing that soon before he gets to comp

his overall healing is ass cuz his ult gets outhealed by zen orb

his platform is so niche its hard to make full value

his pull i like but its terrible wo proper communication which the entirety of t500 doesnt do 💀💀

he also has the same hitbox as queen and little to no survivability so hes acc more fragile than zen and ana
