played it at a friends house, a lot of the "intermission" tracks are pretty well designed, some of them are just straight lines though (thats why we have grinding and charge jumps) but its still fun
the lame part is that you only get to do one real lap
you can turn them off in vs mode though if you want
the open world does look pretty fun, seems like a lot the pswitches are actually hard, thanks nintendo for realising children enjoy a little challenge
