if your game targets 60fps but cant keep at 60, while the display does /not/ support VRR, you get really bad stutter and it generally just feels really bad since frames persist for too long due to having to sync to 60fps
turning on VRR means it can smooth it out a little as frames only persist for as long as the system needs to take for a new frame to render
ps5 VRR only works between 48 and 120 hz, while ff16 drops below 48fps. this twitter dipshit is making it out as if running it on xbox would make the experience any better when it wouldnt, <48hz still feels bad
