The Merchant (you) doesn't craft items, Workers do. That is why they get the xp
And the market isn't your shop so xp from that wouldn't make sense. But there is a talent in questing that grants xp from overflow sales.
I know, but nothing is stopping them from adding XP to the market, I'm still selling things regardless. Just a nice QOL feature.
True, but we can still gain some XP regardless of who crafts them.
The merchant had nothing at all to do with the crafting of the item, no reason for them to get xp from that.
As for xp on market sales, that takes little effort by the player. Shop selling is you there clicking on things, doing things. That at least has the reward of xp
If we get XP from market, I can then have a partner buy my 55-80 Auras, then I could buy it back losing only the tax and gaining all that XP
And quickly that would come on May I add. Not limited by customer flow. Items not consumed by the game. Not good for the market
Yeah you should have to actively do something to earn xp. That's how xp works in most games. You do stuff you earn rewards. Crafting and selling on market is passive not active.
No one is saying you need to get 1:1 XP gains as if you sold in shop. But saying that there's no input from you when the amount of items not sold on the market on a daily, it's not like I auto fill up market and I make so much. I'm just asking for some XP so it's worth a bit more for those who just cannot be bothered to also sell to people in store on a regular.
I could be ok with it if its like 5-10% of normal xp value
are you not clicking things when crafting or selling in auction? i think the idea that the shop keeper isnt actually crafting or auctioning therefore they dont deserve XP is silly.
and i'm not even saying they should get XP for this. but the reason behind it is silly.
Maybe make it a barter talent similar to overflow, maxed at 10%
"For those who just cannot be bothered" ...... yea, no xp for you lol
