Agreed, which defeats the purpose of ever fusing for legendaries. The current set up is not really designed for late-game players who are focused on filling out their collection book. It’s impossible to keep up legendary crafting with the amount of new blueprints.
I think extending the collection book score to include additional boosts to legendary success rates as well as maybe have talent points also contribute could be a good way to help this. Even a 90% chance is significantly better. 1/3 of crafts failing after weeks of ‘work’ making the items and moonstones, does not incentivize fusing at all. Even if legendary fusion was 100% but the lower quality fusions were not 100% that would be better.
An additional way, is even if the fusion failed, maybe return 50% of the epic grade materials. It’s the fact people have to completely start over which is very disheartening.
Maybe the solution could be creating worker souls like titan/champion souls that can be used to upgrade workers beyond their current abilities. There’s a lot of people with many titans and champion souls sitting in their inventory with no use
