Transparency post: Player was issued a warning specifically about this exact behavior (callout posting) and was directed to file a support ticket. As they have opted to continue doing it on this Discord server instead, escalated to 7d ban.

Any chance they thought this was submitting a support ticket?

Hopefully not, given when I spoke with them in #💬|general-discussion last night I explicitly told them this was under no circumstances acceptable on the Discord, and this is still the Discord

#

That was here: #💬|general-discussion message

The warning text itself was also pretty clear:

Please note that callout posts are strictly against server guidelines. If you'd like to report a player for inappropriate conduct, please do so via the in-game reporting system and via the Contact Us option in the in-game Settings.

Yeah I saw that one. I just know many people think that this and #1037756743549190278 are official support tickets. Especially given how many get resolved and they say 'ok thanks you can close this out now.'

I didn't get to see the original post. But based on the interaction and how they agreed with it in the convo. I wouldn't put it past them to think this was support. Maybe more lack of paying attention over malicious intent

Yeah, I'd say there's likely no malicious intent. But ultimately we don't discriminate on why someone opts not to follow the rules

Oh yeah fully agreed there. Still can feel bad about it though

For sure. Although I'd say less so in this case, given the warning explicitly said "in-game Contact Us button and in-game reporting system" and this is very clearly neither of those things.
