I mean if you don't want to do an event..... just don't? Id rather there more or harder events so its not just 4 days a month that I have to do something. I spend the rest of the time just working on mastering all my recipes.

I did like before DI where we had a week to chill. But the rewards from events more than make it worth it

Exactly. It annoying when I was in a slower guild that struggled to finish so from that perspective I understand OPs position but at the end of the day... if you are tired of the events just don't do them.
