Don't worry about your heroes for right now. Seriously.
"Is a body" and "Has equipment in all slots" is enough for a bit.
You will eventually hit a wall (usually around Chronos Ruins) and can start investing slightly more in your heroes then by phasing out your absolute worst ones.
For right now, buy new hero slots with gold as soon as you can. Fill them with the highest tier heroes you can hire with gold.
DO NOT USE GEMS TO HIRE HEROES.
Try to keep your number of Fighters / Rogues / Spellcasters (red / green / blue classes) fairly even.
which one is thé best for end game
As for this, ST is a "slow burn" or a "long haul" game. You will not get your finalized endgame heroes right now. It's much better to focus on incremental progress - take one little step forward at a time.

You should try to balance out your archetypes by getting some more Fighters and Rogues (red and green classes) as previously mentioned.
Another major thing:
Ignore the skill ratings you see on this tool.
This will sound harsh, but anybody who tells you they matter (especially with how early you are) doesn't know enough about the game to be giving advice.
(or they're very late in the game and falling into the "I only advise things based on what works for my game stage" trap)

Basically anything, really. Try to have a Fighter on every team (Fighter Champions count here) and then fill the rest with attackers. It's OK to have two Fighters on the team but try to not have more than that because otherwise you may not have the damage output to actually clear it.
