Currently, it is possible to restrict specific racks to content types based on item type. It would be great if I could also restrict racks by item tiers - for instance, setting a rack to fill only with T1-T13 items.

The main reasoning is that my racks often get filled with T14 items, while all the T1-T13 fodder remains hidden and undisplayed on racks. As a result, I have to manually shift those items from time to time for customers, which is cumbersome.

This would be a good idea, especially since the vending machine already has this function, along with a 'quick restock' button. The vending machine is worthless, but bringing those features to the normal racks would be great!

This would be amazing. I just came to post glad to find it here. Also, I like to surcharge T11-T13 and discount the rest for energy. I don’t have the max energy limit to surcharge T14 items so I sell them on market or save for dragon invasion. But once even a couple get on my shelves customers always request them. To constantly recommend something else chews up energy so I reject a lot of customers and find myself rearranging shelves all the time to get rid of T14 and sometimes T12-13 items (during caprice when I swap shelves for materials).

I suggested the same topic this week, and now I see it here, I fully support this change; the shelves need a tier filter to facilitate commerce.
