#legendary fusion disappears

I have just finished my 3rd legendary fusion. My item appears at the bottom right of my screen with the word 'Ready' under it. I click on that item, the pot appears, and when I click on the pot it just disappears. No animation, no success/failure message. Just poof, it's gone. This has happened 3 times and I have no item in my inventory. I can assume I failed all 3 times but this is clearly a bug. I should have received some type of message.
