I'm struggling with keeping the racks in my shop stocked. I've seen people on discord and reddit say that you need to buy from the market to fill your shop up but all the items are waaay above base value. do I just buy those and lose money or do I wait till I find an item that's below are close to base value? thanks guys!

What I experienced it, it is a ebb and flow depending how you produce and also how much you serve customers.
I am always between 30 and 250 items in the store.
I would not worry to much about that.
In addition, the less items you have, the more likely you have the chance that the king will choose one of the more expensive ones.
