Hey I'm kind of struggling to do my hero's like what spirits whats the best gear?

Spirits will depend a lot on what Merchant level you are as well.

If you have T12 I always do Hydra on everything while leveling heros. The flat bonuses make more impact at lower levels and thus let you do harder dungeons faster for faster leveling.

That's pretty much the only place you should be using Hydra, though.
