The mail is informing you that LCoG is coming to an end soon, and KC starts in just under three days.
The timers are live, so you can look whenever you want and see how much time is left for a specific event.
When LCoG ends and a mini-event starts, you will see a similar mail with a timer notifying you how long until said event expires.
