Both this community event, and the last one, have run Monday to Friday. While the last one ran UTC and this one runs on the regular event time, it would be beneficial, I think, for the event to maybe start on a Wednesday or Thursday, rather than a Monday, and that way it could include the weekend? A lot of players aren't able to play as much during the week, but will be able to spend more time playing on the weekend.
#Change timing of future Community Events.

I believe once we have this event type actually integrated and supported in-game we'll see more flexibility in the event timing. A lot of the pain right now is due to its ghetto implementation (if you want to call it that).
Currently, there's manual work involved (both in the getting the values and communicating it to players) meaning it's preferential it happens during work hours.
The first event did run into the weekend which meant people had to take time out of their weekend off to update the event and we want to avoid that. This is also why this event's start and end timing was adjusted to match other events.
What if it was a thursday-wedneday and the community understands that we wont see an update after friday until monday? That way we can use the thursday night-friday night reset as a good indicator of how the other 6 days will go even if we cant see sat-sun

or make the goal higher for the event and make it 7 days
I’d agree with the 7 day solution. I’m old so my weekday days are usually when I have more time to play, vs weekends/weeknights when trying to spend time with my son. But younger players are busy working/in school during those times, so just having events run through the gamut kind of evens it out. Just a thought.
