I really thought this blueprint for the content pass was an outfit! (was not paying attention). But then I thought, wouldnt it be nice if when they rolled out cool new bps, they also rolled out an identical item for the avatar to wear? I mean, if I am crafting it, I should be able to make one for myself, yes?

Avatars getting to wear blueprints has been brought up in the past.
The tldr from my understanding is why would anyone need to buy Avatar accessories anymore if they let us.

I agree that this would be nice, if there's concern about people not buying avatar accessories any more, they could just make it difficult to earn.
For example like vanity gear you have to fully master it in the collection book, but could also add the stipulation that you have to have sold 1000 of the item in store or something?
