"The Candy Bowl decoration invites customers to take candy from its bowl."
tbh, this was the thing that convinced me to buy the pass. It made me happy to think my customers would joyfully take candy from the bowl.
However... They don't interact with it at all. Having a counter somewhere in the description is not what I expected when I read "customers take candy". This is so sad and diverges a lot from this game's usual love for detail.
So, how could this major letdown be fixed?
Have customers approach the bowl and have them actually take something.
Could be done by combining some already existing animations, to minimize devs workload.
First: Standing in front of it then Animation hands on hips, moving head to left and right (like when they inspect a prestige object ingame before giving energy).
Second: Acutally picking a piece of candy. Could be implemented with the same animation as if selling them a ring. They kinda happily "throw" the item into the air before pocketing it.
If you want to make it extra fancy and not just have the animations without an item/sweet actually visible, we'd need a candycorn and a chocolate bar, which already is present in the bowl.
Alternatively: Animation for devouring food items could be used. They didn't mind consuming the china along with the food, so I don't think they'd hesitate munching straight out of the bowl.
I would be happy with just SOME sort of interaction at all. Just counter is sad, so please consider for the sake of Halloween spirit.
Many thanks.
! That looks so cute 🤩
