#basement not basementing

When placing an item into the basement, the item takes up one less storage square than it should in the basement, but doesn’t free up any storage squares in the shop.

The basement isn't supposed to free up space in the shop. It simply hides the model so you have more room for decoration and customization.

The only way to free up space in the shop is to send the item to storage
